Training Manager
The interview process was a really pleasant experience. Because I live a few hours away from the office, I asked about doing the interview remotely to see if the job would be worth the drive. They said it would add a week to the process, but that was fine with me since I'm currently employed. What really struck me was how genuinely everyone seemed to care; it felt like home. The steps included: 1. A 15-minute phone chat with Glenn McIntosh about my work history and to answer my questions. 2. A one-way video interview where I had to answer questions, mostly about cultural fit and leadership. A week later, I heard back that a panel liked my responses and wanted me to come in. 3. A 15-minute in-office disk personality assessment. 4. A 10-minute one-on-one with Rachel Fenz about what I'm looking for in my next career, which made me feel at ease. 5. A 2-hour informational session with Mr. Mayo where he really showed me the good, bad, and ugly of the role, inspiring me to find a place I'd love. 6. A 70-minute final one-on-one with Paul Haynes. This was the deep dive, reviewing my personality results and how similar personalities struggle. We also discussed my work history, but it felt very personal, with Paul genuinely concerned about my happiness and fit, not just my qualifications. He even showed me team metrics demonstrating how work ethic impacts success, reinforcing the company's focus on systems and SOPs. I was offered the position and accepted, and I really appreciate that they're letting me finish my current commitment. I'm excited to start in November!
- If a role could be designed specifically for you, what would it look like?
- Tell me about a time you were most content in your previous job.
- What is the biggest error or failure you have encountered in your work?
Training Manager
It's a 3-step interview process. It starts with a face-to-face meeting, followed by a "conference style" talk with the agent owner, and then a final interview. Be ready to discuss the compensation structure. Even if you're applying for a management role, you'll start as an agent in the field. They emphasize the "generous" compensation, but it's important to know it's not a salary or base pay; it's entirely commission and performance-based.
- What makes you want to apply for this job?
Training Manager
I had a short one-on-one meeting and then a group interview. If I passed that, I would have had another one-on-one interview with the agency owner. I got a call for the second interview but declined because I found out it was actually more of a sales job than I was looking for.
- What is your motivation for coming to work each day?
