The whole thing took about 3 weeks. First, I had a quick chat with the recruiter to check experience and what I was looking for. Then they sent me a technical challenge to do in a week. After that, two engineers reviewed the challenge with me, followed by a system design interview where I had to design a scalable service. Lastly, I talked to the Engineering Manager about leadership, culture, and how they work. The interviews were straightforward and polite. The technical questions were tough but fair. I suggest brushing up on system design and always explaining your trade-offs.

My interview experience was poor. It felt like they were looking for cheaper, mediocre candidates. My first round was scheduled, but the interviewer didn't show up. I was later told that I missed the interview, and it had to be rescheduled. The interview itself went well; I answered and coded everything asked. Unfortunately, I didn't pass. I'm wondering if Globant prioritizes mediocrity or cheap labor, or perhaps they were concerned about my salary expectations. Is their process similar to Wipro or TCS?
