First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Globant.
Project Manager
The interview process with this company was unprofessional. I had an interview, and they initially said they would provide an update within a week. However, after three weeks, I received no communication. I then reached out to the HR representative at Globant in London (as this was formerly Vertic, now Globant GUT), but my follow-up email went unanswered. Subsequently, I contacted the manager I interviewed with, who also became unresponsive. I had to reach out again, at which point they informed me they had decided to proceed with other candidates. While I accept their decision, the lack of timely communication wasted my time and energy. There seemed to be poor coordination between their agency in CPH and the HR department in London. I had seen negative reviews previously and had hoped for a better experience, even if I wasn't selected for the role.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you describe your experience?
- What is your availability?
Project Manager
A recruiter might give you a call or video chat to go over your background and see if you're interested in the job. You'll probably have a few interviews where they'll ask about your project management skills, how you solve problems, and your general behavior. The second interview could have a hands-on task to check out your project management abilities. Then, you'll have a final meeting with the higher-ups or important people like the client to see how you'd fit into the company vibe and the team.
- Tell me about yourself and your personal life.
- Walk me through your past experiences.
- Describe your approach to solving problems.
Project Manager
I had 3 distinct interviews. From the first one, I always informed everyone involved that the experience was too cool because they make the process seem like a chat with friends instead of an interview. It is also worth mentioning that the information is very clear regarding what they offer and what they expect from you.
- Varias preguntas técnicas relacionadas con el cargo, como el manejo de plataformas (en mi caso, Jira); temas de liderazgo y manejo de equipos; etc.
- Why were you looking for a change?
- What are your motivations?
