First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Globant.
Java Developer
It was a long process. The first interview was short, but then they gave me a technical test to assess my seniority. After that, there was an interview that lasted almost three hours, including live coding. Then, I had to go through several projects to see if any would hire me. I received a pre-offer but no actual offer ever came. I think the recruiter was trying to meet a quota and was evaluating anyone she could. I didn't like it.

We arranged the interview time 3 days in advance via Linkedin. During the interview, the recruiter asked me about my work experiences related to the position I applied for. Then, she asked me some questions in English. She didn't give me information about Globant, as I had already worked there before and knew the company. During the interview, it was recommended that I not continue with the process because my English wasn't fluent enough.
- Can you describe your typical day?
- Tell me about the projects and technologies you've used?
- What are your salary expectations?

So, when I agreed to interview, I immediately ran into communication issues with the recruiter; they seemed careless and uncommitted, even though they were the ones who contacted me. Eventually, I had a call with HR, and they set up a technical interview. In that interview, they asked about my experience, POO, Java, and Spring. The technical person was really nice and professional. We discussed the hiring process and how the company operates. They mentioned the recruiter would follow up and I'd hear back. But then, the recruiter ghosted me.
