globant's hiring process has 3 interviews. The first is with the recruiter, who reviews your CV and wants to meet you because they think your profile meets the basic requirements. This interview is the first filter, covering both professional experience and English level. The second interview is a technical one where they ask questions related to your experience. It's not live coding, just questions. If you pass the technical interview, you are assigned a seniority level (junior, semi-senior, senior, etc.), and based on this, you become an option for different company projects. And here starts the last part of the process, which are the FIT interviews. These are interviews with project staff who want to meet you and see if you'd be a good fit for the team. This process can take a long or short time, depending on the case and project availability. The important thing is to have FIT interviews and get selected for one of them.

A recruiter reached out and gave me the lowdown on the company, then asked about my background. After that, I got an email with a link to an application where I had to record myself answering some culture fit questions, a few of which needed to be in English. We then set up a technical interview covering general Frontend topics like Javascript, HTML, CSS, and a framework, and discussed my experience in more detail. The last step involved a couple of technical interviews with clients for two projects I might join. They were interested in my experience and asked more project-specific technical questions. I got the offer in the end.

The process is supposedly in 4 phases: HR interview, an online interview evaluating an AI, the technical interview, and finally, a meeting where they give you feedback. The HR interview is pretty simple, they just tell you about the company and the profile they are looking for. They also ask you why you want to work at Globant and why you want to leave your current job. The online interview has like 10 questions that you must answer orally while recording yourself, the first 8 are in Spanish and are the classic HR ones (What is the most exciting project you have participated in, tell me about a time you had a problem and how you solved it, etc.), the last 2 are in English and are simpler (I don't remember exactly what they were but I think: What do you like to do in your free time, etc.) The technical interview lasts approximately 1 hour and a half and is all theoretical questions (Hoisting, closure, specificity principle, arrow functions, web components...). They ask you about everything, they are very detailed about you knowing the basics, so if you say you know something, they will ask you a lot about it.
