Behavioral

The interview process was approachable, to the point, transparent, and quick. Thankfully it was just a few behavioral questions. It included a screening with the recruiter, an interview with the manager, and a shadow with the team lead. The whole thing took about two weeks from when I applied to when I got the offer.

I got a call from a number out of state and missed it. I called back about ten minutes later and the woman started off the interview with, "So, you've had a lot of different jobs it looks like?" Much of my previous experience is in restaurant management, which I did while earning my degree. I explained this and she seemed skeptical. I have a speech impediment and she seemed irritated by this, but maybe she was just having a bad day. She basically hinted that I wasn't a strong candidate by saying, "If you don't hear back from us, I wouldn't bother." It was a really awkward interview and she seemed uninterested in my background. I figured I was just a call to compare with more qualified candidates, which happens, but it could have been handled more professionally. Thumbs down.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty straightforward, really showing if you have the skills and motivation. It involved one phone call and then an in-person interview with the hiring manager. They were interested in my Excel experience and my comfort with detail-oriented tasks. I felt they were assessing my self-drive since the department doesn't really do micromanaging. I got the job offer about 1-2 weeks after. They also did a standard background check.

It was a pretty chill, conversational interview. They really cared about whether I'd fit the company culture, if I had hustle, and if I was coachable. Two people interviewed me and asked questions based on my resume. I also got to ask them questions. They also had me shadow someone and wanted to see how interested and curious I was during that.
