Project Manager
The interview process involved clearing three rounds, followed by a salary discussion with HR, but the offer was ultimately put on hold. I'm quite dissatisfied with how things were handled and think there should be clearer, more transparent communication with candidates throughout the process.
- Can you explain Agile and Scrum in the context of project management?
- What is the difference between the Definition of Done and Definition of Ready?
- How do you approach sprint planning and estimation methodologies?
Project Manager
The entire interview process was wrapped up within 2 weeks, moving at a fast pace. The questions asked were a mix of technical, functional, and managerial. Two rounds were covered in all. The process was very engaging.
- Can you explain Sonar cube coverage and test automation?
Project Manager
So I interviewed for a project management role back in March and April 2024. The whole thing took about two months and had five rounds. Unfortunately, they ended up rejecting me. The first two rounds were specific to the PM role, and I think I did well. Then came a psychometric test, followed by an HRBP test. After I passed those, the HR person asked for all my documents – experience letters, relieve letters, pay slips, you name it. She then shared the CTC details, which I agreed to. The final step was to meet another manager, ViXXod SOXXXX, in Bangalore. They said it was just a meet and greet, but it turned out to be a 1 hour 30 min interview. What's crazy is they hit me with technical questions on Java, DB, and Python, then followed up with PM concepts. I mean, why ask programming questions for a PM role? And they called it a meet and greet! My time and effort were totally wasted. Seriously, if you're considering this, don't bother. They seem unsure about the position and have no projects lined up. It was super demotivating and frustrating.
- How do you establish team goals?
- What factors do you consider when defining goals?
- What's your approach to assessing underperformers?
