GlobalLogic Java Developer Interview Questions

The interview process was not great. It was for a Google project that Global Logic is working on. The interviewer was rude and asked basic Java questions found on Stack Overflow. They weren't open to different answers and treated it like an interview for a fresh graduate. When I explained things in my own way, they said they couldn't understand and that I should try to be logical. The behavior was also bad, and they didn't even ask if I had any questions. I told the HR about this, and she arranged for my first round to be redone. However, the same thing happened again, and I decided not to say anything as it's clear what kind of people work there. They probably only know core Java and seem new to conducting interviews.

So the interview was mostly about system design and architecture. They also asked some technical Java, Kafka, and Spring questions. But honestly, the recruiter's behavior was wild - she showed up in a bathrobe! I couldn't hear her at first because of noise, so I asked her to use headphones, and she got defensive, saying nobody complained before and this is her usual way. She eventually put on headphones, but they didn't work, so we just continued with her laptop mic. I had to ask her to repeat questions a bunch because it was hard to understand. Then, near the end, she was typing and laughing really loudly on her laptop. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience.

There were 3 rounds in total. First was an aptitude test with 40 questions and 3 programming questions on Hackerearth, which were pretty easy. The second was a technical round, and the third was a managerial round. The questions asked were mainly based on what's on the resume. The technical round lasted about 80 minutes, covering all the skills mentioned on the resume. The managerial round was about 40 minutes long and focused on in-depth core Java questions.
