It was a technical screen focusing on JavaScript, React.js, CSS & HTML. They asked about JavaScript concepts like closures, variable declarations (let, const, var), hoisting, and the difference between promises and async/await. Then we moved on to React.js, covering hooks, component lifecycle, state management, and controlled vs. uncontrolled components. Finally, CSS & HTML questions involved the Box Model, differences between Flexbox and Grid, and the importance of semantic HTML elements.

So I interviewed with GlobalLogic and honestly, if you're looking to just have your time wasted, this is the place. The HR lady was super unprofessional. She'd email me at like 9:30 PM or 11:50 PM. And instead of actually scheduling interviews properly with calendar invites, she'd just send random Google Meet links and change them like 2-3 times, even last minute. Plus, she was really strict about timings, wouldn't budge even 30 minutes later, saying the manager was only available then. There were two technical rounds, which were actually fine, the interviewers were nice. Then a Project Manager round, mostly about my current job and team management stuff, which was also okay. The hiring manager asked about salary, then immediately low-balled me and asked for a ton of documents - pay slips, ID, previous offer letters, relieving letters, and references. He promised an offer in 4-5 days, but then the HR just ghosted me. No replies to emails or calls for 10-15 days. Turns out this is a common thing there based on other reviews. Seriously, GlobalLogic just wastes your time. They could at least give basic feedback. They talk about culture fit, but maybe they should check their own culture first.

I had a telephonic round first. Then, I went for the client-side interview process at Ericsson Gurgaon. There were two technical discussion rounds and one manager interaction. It was a good experience overall. However, after receiving the offer letter, the salary package was not competitive. The HR seemed irritated when I tried to discuss or negotiate concerns, which was strange. The company seems good, but they don't offer significant salary hikes. So, I wouldn't recommend wasting time here, because even after clearing all rounds, they'll say you're asking for too much based on their budget.
