I applied online via ZipRecruiter and got an email asking me to schedule an interview. Then I got a follow-up email saying "there is no additional preparation other than to take a look at our website and bring in any questions that you have," which I did. When Sebastian (the founder, interviewer) saw my questions, he told me that I would not get the opportunity to ask all of my questions as it was just a pre-screening interview. I was told to pick my top 2 questions to ask. In short, I was basically called in to be told what would take place on a second day if selected after this "prescreening" process. I was told there were 50+ applicants and top 10 would be selected, etc. The questions asked were what one would simply ask during a phone interview. He had me explain briefly my resume (in under 1 minute) and asked the same question that was on the interview form I filled out. This is something that could have been done over the phone! The interviewer was neither inviting or engaging. I did ask him what he would expect in the first month from someone who fills the position and he said, "nothing. I don't think I'd be able to run a successful company if I expected anything from my employees." Based on that response, I sent an email thanking them for the opportunity and withdrew my candidacy.

The first round was with the CEO, who is young and smart. Then I had a second round which was a full day shadowing a sales associate in the field. We went to the Bronx, set up a table, and displayed cellphones. The sales team at Global Skyline is super talented, they know how to sell and get you to buy the product. I saw it firsthand and even helped make sales. You get good commission for each phone sold. The environment is great, you get promoted fast, the people are young, and you learn a lot about sales. But, if you don't like direct marketing, this job isn't for you. It's 100% commission with no base salary. The long days standing in the field can be frustrating, like any sales job.

Applied and then got a call for an interview. I was hesitant to go because of the negative reviews I'd seen online, but I decided to do it anyway. It was a complete waste of my time. This company is a joke. I arrived 20 minutes early, and after the receptionist finally came back to her desk, I was given some fake form to complete. Then, my interview was delayed by 30 minutes because the CEO had to eat his cereal first. When the interview eventually started, I got weird vibes from the CEO, particularly when I mentioned I had applied for one role but was called in for another. When it was my turn to ask questions, he either dodged them or gave very unclear answers. He claimed they plan events for fortune 500 companies, so I asked him to name some, and he replied, 'Well, what do you mean?' When I asked him to name some of the big events they've organized, he said, 'You wouldn't recognize them; they're conferences.' I absolutely would not recommend this joke of a company, not even to my worst enemy. What this company is doing is ridiculous, and their CEO, who acts like a child, should go back to kindergarten.

First interview was brief with the CEO, got an overview of the company and clients. Invited back for a second interview, waited a bit long, interviewed by a different manager. This one was friendly, the interviewer answered my questions, and I got to move to the third interview. Was told it would be the CEO again but another manager interviewed me. It was brief, my questions were answered, and they said they'd contact me later. Music in the lobby was nice. A little confusing but a good experience overall.
