The interview process moved quickly, wrapping up in just a couple of weeks. I talked to a few sales managers who all asked pretty much the same things. It was a decent experience overall for an entry-level sales job.

I went through 4 interviews and got positive feedback, and the next step was a trip to NC for more interviews with executives. I first met with the HR hiring manager, then the National Sales Director, followed by another National/Regional Sales Director. The fourth interview was an in-person role-playing/presentation. I was told I was moving on and that the feedback was I was a great fit. But then two days later, they told me they'd gone with someone else and already extended an offer. It felt a bit misleading to have me prepare for a trip to NC if they were about to offer someone else the job. It was strange, but given the Glassdoor reviews, it's not surprising. I felt like the two sales directors I met weren't quite on the same page.

I got a call from the manager on LinkedIn, then spoke to the Houston Rep on the phone. After that, I had an in-person interview in Irving, met with the manager, and spoke with the Director on the phone. The Director mentioned the previous person in the role left quickly because they didn't like the "heavy lifting." They wanted to fill it fast. I emailed right after and followed up 2 weeks later since I hadn't heard back. The Houston rep seemed overwhelmed as I had to remind her to schedule my in-person interview. Two weeks after that, I got an automated email saying the position was filled.
