The hiring process lasted about a month from when applications closed. Initially, I received a technical test via email to complete in 30 minutes. After about two weeks, I was invited to a 45-minute interview via Teams. The questions were typical for a job interview, with three of them being in English and related to the technical aspects and my experience with the vacancy. Both the technical staff and HR made me feel comfortable and at ease during the interview.

My interview process was smooth and panel members had mixed functional and ethnic background. While it might have made me nervous at the onset, the discussion built-up naturally. So, self-confidence and presence of mind is the key to work in such international set-up. Have your key skills and relevant examples on placard as preparation. In some of the other interview cases, I'm aware the interviews were conducted by small teams and the process was not necessarily fair and square.

They reached out and suggested some interview dates. I replied, but then didn't hear back for about a week. A few days later, we set up a new date, and I had the interview. It seemed to go alright. I asked a couple of times about when I'd hear back, but they were pretty vague both times, just mentioning the start date. As the start date got closer, I followed up again, but they just ghosted me.

So basically I got this invite for a job, and they made me do a written test. After that, I had to write a 3-page proposal. Then, they invited me for an interview, and I spent two whole days prepping for it. But then, just a few hours before the interview was supposed to happen, I got an email saying it was cancelled. Apparently, the HR person just looked at my CV again and decided I didn't fit. Like, what was HR doing when they shortlisted me for the test and interview in the first place? It's super unprofessional and shows no respect for candidates. I don't get how they can claim to be tackling climate change with this kind of unprofessionalism.
