Customer Success Manager
The process started with a CV review, followed by an HR screening. Then, there was a 30-minute video interview with a senior CSM. I was asked to come prepared to talk more about my background, specifically how I've grown revenue/accounts, provided client solutions, and used my analytical skills to work with data.
- Can you elaborate on your experience in growing revenue and expanding existing accounts?
- Tell me about your experience in delivering client-focused solutions.
- How would you describe your analytical skills and your ability to process and present data?
Customer Success Manager
I made it to the third round of interviews. They told me to get ready for a case study presentation a week before. I had to submit it the day before the interview. I spent a lot of time on it, even taking time off work. But, on the day of the interview, they cancelled it. They said the case study wasn't visual enough and didn't show enough market understanding. They didn't even let me present it or talk about why I did what I did. I wish I could have explained my thinking and gotten some feedback. Cancelling last minute felt weird for a company that talks about teamwork and helping customers. It was a bummer how it ended, especially after a good start. Hopefully, they'll be more considerate of people's time and effort in the future.
- Could you create a case study presentation looking at the top 10 markets outside the UK for one of our clients, and compare how things performed compared to last year?
- In your presentation, please identify the main reasons for changes in revenue within those top 10 non-UK markets.
- Based on your analysis, what strategic suggestions would you offer to the client?
Customer Success Manager
Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. First, there was a 30-minute HR call. Then, a 30-minute call with a CSM. After that, a 90-minute business case with 2+ CS leads and directors. Finally, a 30-minute final HR call.
- Tell me about a time you got negative feedback from a customer.
