Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Global Atlantic.
Actuarial Analyst
I spoke with a senior recruiter for about 30 minutes via video. He spent about 15 minutes talking about the job and himself. After that, he asked me about my qualifications for the position and made it easy for me to talk about my background. I wish I'd gone into more detail about my experience.
- Can you tell me about your programming language experience?
Actuarial Intern
The interview process had 3 rounds. The second round felt more like 3 separate meetings, as I met with 3 different people one after another. Overall, it was a good experience, and the questions weren't too hard. I found the math questions easier than the personality ones.
- Can you share a past success and what you learned from it?
Actuarial Analyst
Started with an HR call, then had two calls with team members. The final in-person interview involved five separate interviews. Communication about status updates between interviews was poor and responses were delayed. The main focus was assessing team fit.
- Tell me about yourself and your experience.
- Why are you interested in this role and our company?
- Describe a time you had to work with a difficult team member.
