The interview process began with an HR call to discuss your significant projects, CV, and reasons for wanting to join Glia. This was followed by a meeting with the Hiring Manager. In this round, you'll face scenario-based questions focusing on Conversation AI, evaluation methods, and anti-hallucination techniques, where you need to demonstrate your thought process. They will also dive deep into your work history, starting from your first role listed on your CV up to your most recent position. For instance, you might be asked about managing fraud in a banking context while deploying a bot interaction system.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was lengthy but overall positive. Glia seems to place a high emphasis on cultural alignment and finding candidates who are not only skilled but also personable. They acknowledge that their hiring process can be a bit drawn out, but they believe it's necessary to find the right people. Applicants should be prepared to have their motivations scrutinized, their entire professional background examined, and to demonstrate solid qualifications for the role.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Terrible experience. The process took forever, almost a full month of interviews, tasks, and team presentations, plus a behavior test. In the end, I got an automated rejection message. I spent hours on it and didn't even get a personal response or any follow-up. I passed all the technical parts without any issues, right up to the CV review stage. It felt like a very invasive interview, they asked me about things I did in high school that I obviously don't remember all of. They even asked why I wasn't still in touch with people I briefly met almost ten years ago. It's clear their focus is on cultural fit, which is understandable, but I'd recommend they reorganize their process to align with that. If cultural fit is more important than professional background, these interviews should come first. That way, I wouldn't have wasted a month of my life and work in vain.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Other

The interview process at Glia was one of the most unnecessarily drawn-out and frustrating experiences I’ve had in my career. It started with a recruiter screen, then I had to submit six years of quota history and complete personality and cognitive tests. After that, you meet with the hiring manager twice, and also with HR. These interviews go into every single job you've ever had, all the way back to college. They ask super specific questions like who you reported to, their names, and what you liked or disliked about them. It really felt more like a background check than an interview for skills or culture fit. Then, they have you do a long assignment with a territory plan, prospecting plan (with actual email examples), a discovery presentation, and a mock discovery call. All of this takes several hours to prep. After weeks of interviews and tasks, they said I wasn’t a fit because I didn’t have insurance industry experience—even though I have 15+ years of highly strategic tech sales experience. That’s something they could’ve figured out in the first chat. Instead, they waited till the end of a month-long process to mention it. It was a huge time and energy investment for an outcome that could have been decided early on. If you're thinking about applying, be ready for a long process that doesn't show much respect for your time.
