Research Manager
I had a really good interview at GLG for a Research Manager position. It started with a 15-min phone screen, followed by a 30-min chat with the hiring manager. Then, I went to an in-person interview that lasted nearly 3 hours with seven different people back-to-back. They asked about my company knowledge, my experience and how it aligns with the job, and gave me a case study to find contacts for a client. A week later, I was told the hiring manager had concerns about my academic background not translating to a corporate setting, but they still wanted me on the team. I was offered a slightly more junior role with similar pay, which I took.

Research Manager
My recruiting experience at GLG was the best and most professional I've ever had. I talked to ten different people over a few weeks and did a case study. They were great at communicating timelines, expectations, and next steps, and were always respectful of my schedule. Will D. and Pat D. were awesome guides, showing great leadership from the start. The whole team was considerate of my time but also took the initiative to set up a full round of discussions so I could really understand the company and culture. It was tough to decline, given the quality of the interviews and the people I met.

Research Manager
A recruiter reached out to me. Then I had an initial phone screening, followed by two more phone interviews, which I think were with mid-level professionals. After that, I had an in-person interview, and then a case study to show my presentation skills and company knowledge.
