So I had a phone interview that was about 30 minutes, which was pretty standard. Then I got invited to the London office for the second round, which had three parts: a competency interview, a role-play, and a case study. What's cool about GLG's process is they're really upfront about who you'll meet and what to expect. The second round was pretty engaging, and I learned a lot. The HR person handling my application was also really great and helpful. After that, I got invited for a third round. Unfortunately, this part was not a good experience. I went to the offices again and met with three more employees. They all asked competency-based questions. However, two of them came across as really arrogant, making it an uncomfortable conversation. The hiring manager, in particular, seemed uninterested and like I was wasting his time. At that point, I decided I wouldn't accept an offer even if one was made. Unsurprisingly, I didn't get an offer. After three rounds and talking to seven people, I got a generic, automated email with no feedback.

It was only one interview with the General Manager first, and then several managers interviewed me as well. It took almost an hour. They tried to get to know me. After the interview, I got the offer pretty fast via email.

First I sent in my CV. Then I had a phone interview. After that, I went to an in person interview which had two stages. Stage 1 was split into three parts: personal fit, a simulation of a phone call with a prospective client, and a case study testing my understanding of solving cases and their products. I didn't make it to Stage 2, which involved personal fit and a case study with senior partners.
