Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Glenmark.
Manager
It was good, overall experience was good. There were technical questions on current job role, and expectations. Then, there was subsequent hr interview on salary part and salary negotiation. First it was telephonic and later it was one to one discussion.
- Can you describe your current role?
- What are your expectations?
- What is your salary expectation?
Assistant Manager
The interview process included a quick resume walkthrough in all rounds. They asked about my knowledge of Amazon. There was a question about taking a product to a customer that didn't meet their needs, and a design question for a car for a deaf person, where reasoning was important. They also asked about people management experience, professional weaknesses, handling challenging customers and why they were challenging. I was asked about a significant professional achievement and the specifics of it. There was a coding question about palindromes between 1 and 1201. They asked how I would motivate my team, about capacity planning and the factors to consider. Finally, they asked about KPIs for customer service and my team.
- Tell me about your previous experience.
- Walk me through your resume.
- What do you know about Amazon?
Assistant Manager
They let me know ahead of time and the email had clear info on how to get there and the HR person's number if I needed it. When I got there, the receptionist told HR, and the HR person took me to the department head. He interviewed me for 30 minutes, then HR handled salary negotiations. It went well.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What do you consider your greatest strengths and weaknesses?
- What makes you want to apply for this position?
