I had a recruiter screen, then a behavioral interview with the person whose job I was covering. The recruiter was a bit unclear when giving feedback. She left a voicemail but I couldn't call back. I emailed her and messaged the other interviewer on LinkedIn. The next day, the recruiter sent a rejection email, saying they liked giving feedback, which was why she called. She also offered detailed feedback if I wanted it... I tried twice. No reply.

Behavioral Other

I applied a few times and finally got in touch with someone who helped me get an interview. It was hard to connect with the recruiter to schedule next steps. I then met with a manager and a VP, which were great interviews. We exchanged some emails between meetings. After the third interview with the manager, I didn't hear back for a few days. I followed up again after a week and finally heard back on the second week that they decided to go with another candidate.

I had a phone call with the recruiter first, then the hiring manager. The third round was supposed to be a technical interview, but it got cancelled. Honestly, the whole process was really drawn out, and I had to chase them to keep things moving. The hiring manager also missed our scheduled meeting and called an hour late. I decided to go through with it, but it felt like a bad sign. It was definitely one of the worst interview experiences I've had. They wanted to schedule a third round, but then they seemed to change their minds, cancelled it, and gave some excuse about removing the job posting. Oh well.

Behavioral Technical

I put in an application for a job in London and got contacted by a recruiter based in the US for an initial screening. I wasn't sure I did well, but they invited me back for a second chat with the hiring manager. I was actually going to decline because I'd already gotten another offer (I was made redundant so I was job hunting hard), but the hiring manager really wanted to talk since they were interested in my profile. I was quite flattered. The second interview was really chill and friendly, with typical questions, even some personal ones. In the end, I wasn't asked for a third interview, but I was really impressed with the whole process. The HR team was excellent at staying in touch by phone, not email, and they were very personable. It's quite unusual to find that with companies.
