Behavioral Case Presentation

My interview journey started with a chat with the HR Acquisition Team, who were really nice and helpful. Then I had a Teams interview with the hiring manager, who explained the role in more detail. After that, I went in person to meet my team, and I had to prepare a small case study for them. The whole thing was quick, and they kept me updated on how things were going. Overall, it was a really good experience.

Behavioral Presentation Other

I initially interviewed for a different role, but after we decided it wasn't a fit, I was invited to interview for the Assistant Brand Manager position. I went into it knowing it was just exploratory, hoping for the best because I had a good connection with the HR person. But I left feeling like I was just a pawn used by HR to tick a box for filling a role. This wasn't because I didn't get an offer, it's just that the HR rep's attitude changed completely after my interview with the Brand Manager. After talking to a friend who used to work at Glanbia about the company, department, and experience, I felt like I dodged a bullet anyway. I understand they want to hire the best person for the job, but they shouldn't treat candidates poorly just because it suits their workload. It gives a bad impression of the company culture and can lead to negative feedback to people in their network who might apply.

The interview process started well with four individual interviews conducted quickly. After that, there was no communication. My emails inquiring about the status update were not answered. While I understand that there might be other priorities, the way they handle candidates, especially those who are looking for work and hoping to join a desired company, makes one question how they would treat their employees.
