I had a great interview experience with Gladly. The process involved a panel of five interviews, all organized smoothly by JC, my recruiter. She was very thoughtful, responsive, and nice, making the whole experience feel personal. She really went the extra mile and left a great impression. The interview schedule was well-planned. I first talked to JC, then the hiring manager, followed by the RevOps Director, the Director of Accounting, the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting, and finally, the CFO. Everyone I met had unique insights. The team was super smart, kind, and had great energy. It felt like a dream team I'd be excited to join. After each conversation, I was even more impressed and eager to be part of the company. Regardless of the outcome, the experience made me respect and admire Gladly and its employees. Great job to everyone at Gladly!

First, I had a 30 minute call with a great recruiter. Then, a 45 minute interview with the hiring manager who was also great and professional. Following that, there were four 45 minute interviews with the team. Two were pretty standard, but the other two were really nice. Those interviewers were cool and went out of their way to make it a good experience for me, and were good company reps. They were upfront about challenges but also respected leadership. Their teams seemed intentional about interviews and they seemed like solid teammates.

Behavioral Presentation

The recruiter was helpful and gave me the resources I asked for. The interview process was long, with 7 interviews in total including a recruiter call and a panel interview. It was a good chance to get to know who I'd be working with. All the interviewers were very personable, relaxed, and asked thoughtful questions. They asked relevant questions that helped them understand my thought process better, rather than just asking from a list, which made it feel like a test. The panel presentation was a bit tough because the prompt was demanding, and there wasn't enough time to present it fully (they did say they got this feedback positively though!).

Behavioral Technical

I had a frustrating recruiting experience with Gladly. They reached out to schedule an interview, but there was a big delay in responding. Once my screening was scheduled, they said we needed to move fast because others were ahead, even though they had delayed for a week. I had an interview right after with no prep time. They seemed to like my interview, but I got no follow-up even after trying to check in since they were in a rush. After weeks of silence, I got a new invite to discuss the job, which seemed like a mistake since I had already interviewed. When I asked, they admitted the error but criticized my preparedness, which was tough given the short notice. The whole process felt unprofessional and disorganized and isn't a place I'd want to work if this is how interviews go.
