First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Givelify.
Software Engineer
Started with an intro call with HR. Then, there was a technical assignment that included logical reasoning questions and coding challenges in a language of your choice. After that, I had technical interviews with team members, directors, and direct reports. Finally, an offer was extended.
- Can you describe your understanding of fundamental computer science principles?
- Illustrate how you would approach and resolve practical, real-world problems.
Software Engineer
I had an HR screen followed by a hacker rank style take home assignment. I didn't advance to the next stage. There were a couple of technical questions that required verbal answers, along with the usual 'what did you learn?' and 'what were you proud of?' questions.
- How would you speed up a SQL query?
Software Developer
I had a screening interview with CyberCoders, and then I went straight to an interview with the CEO who offered me the job right then and there. I wasn't ready to say yes immediately, so they gave me a few days to think about it while I was checking out another opportunity. The CEO was super nice and even kicked a soccer ball around the office with me, which really helped me relax.
