The job was advertised on the company's homepage. After I sent my CV, HR reached out, which was a pleasant experience. This was followed by a phone call, a test, and a video interview. The video interview was with my future lead, which was a bit of a turn-off. It felt like there was a lack of mutual respect, and the interviewer seemed either new to the role or unprofessional. The whole process felt more like an interrogation where they got all the information from me but were unwilling to answer my questions. It felt offensive, and I hope they found a submissive employee. I wanted to quit 30 minutes into the interview because of the leadership mindset I encountered.

Got an email to schedule a phone screen, which I did with the talent acquisition manager. She mentioned she'd be in touch. I didn't get a further interview with the hiring manager, but I did get an email with some nice personalized feedback. The whole process was well-organized and they followed up effectively. I'd go through it again.
