It was one round with the hiring manager. It was conversational and flowy. Less technical questions and more behavioral type questions. It was a good experience for sure. Very interesting to learn more about the different projects where my talents would be used at.

The interview was done remotely over zoom and had two parts. First, I talked to the associate directors of project management, engineering, and cost control. Then, I had a quick chat with the Director of Engineering, Project Management, and Facilities. Everyone was nice and professional.

This process started with a recruiter reaching out on 10/30/20. It was supposed to be a 2 month process, but I ended up getting ghosted. The first few rounds were okay and communication was good. Then, a new recruiter took over on 11/20 and said the hiring manager was out until the 7th. On the 7th, I followed up and asked for an update, mentioning I was interviewing elsewhere. The recruiter responded with a really condescending email around 10 AM Pacific time, but she claimed it was 7 AM and that the manager hadn't even started working yet. She said she'd reach out if she didn't hear from the manager by midday the next day. That was the last I heard from her on 12/7/20. It's now 12/21/20, and I haven't heard anything in 3 weeks. I hope she's just a contractor because the apathy was rough and future candidates shouldn't have to deal with that.
