Quality Manager
The interview process started with 3 interviews. None of the interviewers seemed prepared. The hiring manager asked very general questions about quality but got frustrated when I couldn't provide specific information. My attempts to clarify what he was looking for were unsuccessful because he wasn't sure himself. The other two interviewers were also unprepared, making it a waste of time for everyone. The second round included more interviews with the initial three interviewers, who still had no questions, plus five new people. Some of these new interviewers asked technical quality questions. The recruiter initially said a decision would be made soon, but then I received an email stating they decided to close the position. This was a disorganized, time-wasting experience that made me feel disrespected.
- Can you tell me about supplier qualification?
Senior Manager
I went through 4 rounds of interviews, each about 30 minutes long. They were all virtual, and I did them from home. There weren't any technical questions, just a lot of typical aptitude questions from different people in the function.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What sparked your interest?
- What prompted your decision to leave your prior position?
Manager
A recruiter reached out and we had an initial chat over Zoom. Then, I had another Zoom call with the hiring managers. The last part was a panel interview, which was a mix of onsite and Zoom meetings. This final round included the hiring managers, some team members, and people from other departments. Everyone was really nice, interested in the conversation, and knew their stuff. Even though scheduling was a bit tricky and made the process take a bit longer, the recruiters and coordinators were super responsive and involved. Overall, it was a really good experience.
- Can you share an instance where you made an error and what you took away from it?
