I applied and didn't hear back for three months. Then I had a recruiter call which went fine. After that, I had an interview with the hiring manager. This felt like a bad fit because the role required skills that weren't mentioned in the job description or during the recruiter call. This made me feel dumb and like I was being looked down on. I never heard back about whether I got rejected, and it felt like a total waste of my time.

I applied for a few summer intern roles at Gilead and had several interviews. Everyone I talked to was really nice and down-to-earth. After applying, I got an email about setting up interviews. For the job I got an offer for, I had two Zoom calls, one each week with a team member. HR called me after each interview to give feedback. For the role I didn't get an offer for, I had one Zoom call with two team members, and didn't hear back after that.

I applied online a while back and then they got in touch for a back-to-back interview that went for about 90 minutes. The three people who interviewed me were really nice and made me feel comfortable. The third interview ran a bit late, and about two-thirds of the interviews felt pretty casual. It seems like a good company to work for, and even if I don't get the job, it was a pleasant experience.
