Software Engineer
So I applied online and then I got this aptitude test. I thought it would be easy, but I was so wrong. It was the worst experience ever! They give you only 15 minutes for questions that felt like high school level. You have to do stuff like match shapes, quick math, and read graphs, all within that super short time. It felt like they were asking the same kinds of analogy questions over and over, like 'X is to Y as A is to ___'. I don't get what they're trying to find out about me, especially with such a tight deadline. The questions were confusing, some were unclear, and none of them seemed to have anything to do with the actual job. It's crazy that for a senior role, they're asking these kinds of questions to people with years of experience. I bet the company knows about all the bad reviews but hasn't fixed anything, which says a lot about their values and how they treat people. It's really disrespectful. Avoid this place!

I had a really bad interview experience here. First, I had to do a 3-hour coding test and I got 100% on it. Then, two weeks later, they asked me to record a 5-minute video about a past project. After another two weeks, I had a phone call with a data analyst. He said the call was just to learn about Gigster and that I would definitely move on to the next step, which was to build a full-stack app that should take 6-8 hours. A few days after that, I got an automated rejection via Lever. Seriously, don't waste your time with this company. They don't respect your time at all.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Software Engineer
So I first had to do this online coding test on Codility, which I aced. Then a recruiter reached out and asked me to record myself talking about a personal project I'd done. After that, I had a 30-minute call where we talked about web apps. The next step was an on-site interview, which involved a coding exercise with someone and then three chats about culture. I met with the CEO the following day and got a verbal offer right then and there.
