Behavioral Coding

Had a good behavioral chat with the HR person. Then, there was a coding challenge that was pretty tough, needing to be done in 1 hour 30 minutes. It asked for clean code, structured components, styling, testing, and documentation. This is for a role that doesn't pay great for igaming.

The interview process at GiG was really smooth and professional, felt very engaging. The talent team kept me in the loop from the start, letting me know what to expect, which was super helpful in calming my nerves. The interviews were tough but also friendly, with a good mix of technical and behavioral stuff. The interviewers seemed genuinely interested in learning about me, my skills, and how I'd fit with the company vibe. It felt more like a good chat than a stiff interview, and I really liked how open they were about everything.

So there were 3 parts to it. First, I chatted with a recruiter, just a chill talk about the company and my background, what I'm looking for, why I applied, you know. Then, I had this coding project to do, with a decent deadline and clear instructions. Finally, there was a technical chat where we went over the assignment, and they asked me stuff about my past work and frontend things like JS, TS, and CSS. The interviewers were super nice and knew their stuff. Overall, it was super smooth, good communication, and I heard back fast. Really professional and friendly vibe.
