They're really looking for people who can grow and learn, and they also care about personal habits like time management and productivity. You'll want to show that you're ambitious and a hard worker. If you can't commit to the available work hours, it'll hurt your chances.

If you have an interview with Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty, be ready for them to cancel it a few hours before. I was set to go to their New York office for an interview and HR called me LESS THAN THREE HOURS before to cancel because they already offered the job to someone else. They are really rude and unprofessional to applicants. Just a heads up, if you have any interview scheduled with them, they might cancel on you a few hours before. They don't seem to care about their applicants, so don't waste too much time and money on this firm. If Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty is willing to cancel on you with less than 24 hours notice, I bet they'll pull a similar stunt again in the future, even if you were working for them.

Got a phone call, then an email confirming the interview for the Intellectual Property Paralegal job. It was a group interview with 3 current paralegals. They asked general questions, then some about my resume. The last few questions were more personal, like what I do for fun. You should be ready to explain why you want to work there and what would make you stay for two years, because the work didn't seem that interesting.

The people I met were friendly and didn't ask super hard questions. They did pay close attention to what I said though. They also took time to explain the main tasks of the job. It was a really chill experience.
