Direct Support Professional
I applied and got a call the same week to set up an interview, which was the following week. The first interview involved a questionnaire asking why I chose the job, if I'd ever been fired, and my salary expectations. A couple days later, I was called back for a second interview with someone else. After they explained the job requirements, like needing CPR, first aid, a physical, and a TB test, I was told to go get my background check and drug test.
- Were you ever terminated from a previous employment?
- Can you introduce yourself?
Program Assistant
The interview went super well. The staff were all really nice and knew a lot about the school. It's a public school. I asked about how they hire, and they mentioned they bring in new groups of workers every two weeks. Apparently, there's a high turnover rate, which I'm not sure why. But they did tell me there are chances to move up in the company.
- How do you handle conflict resolution?
- Would you be prepared to physically restrain students?
- Do you have experience working with special education children?
Paralegal
The interview experience was great and very detailed. It was a panel-style interview, but it felt very comfortable. The people were nice and the process was pleasant. Everything started on time, and they were prepared and ready for the interview. They had my resume, and questions were prepared beforehand.
- The questions asked were good.
- It was a very enjoyable interview experience.
- It made me feel very good about the potential job.
Teacher
Met with some administrators and took a tour of the school. We talked about my past experience and what I'm hoping to do long term. Everyone seemed really nice and seemed to like their jobs. I was told I'd have to work the extended summer session.
- How do you set goals for each student
