First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Giant Food.
Analyst
first round was call from HR. phone call asking about my previous experinences. got called for second round in the office. The whole interview was behavorial questions. Considering FMCG, i thought it would be more to and fro conversational. it went for like an hour. got results within a wek. hence, smooth process overall
- how would you manage cross collaboration with other teams?
Stocker
The interview process was straightforward and simple. They asked basic questions about why I wanted the job, what kind of employee I am, and how I would contribute. After the interview, things got a bit messy because there wasn't good communication between departments, so when I showed up for my first day, nobody knew I was supposed to be there or what my role was.
- What makes you want to work at this company?
Cashier
The interview at Giant Food was professional and welcoming. The interviewer was friendly, asking about my previous experience and skills. The process was smooth, with clear questions and a focus on customer service. I felt respected, and the atmosphere was positive. Overall, it was a straightforward and pleasant experience.
- Can you describe how you would handle a situation with an irate customer?
- Tell me about your customer service skills.
Social Media Specialist
I applied for the job through LinkedIn, and the recruiter reached out pretty quickly with some questions about my background and the role. Then I had a phone interview with the recruiter. After that, there were two video interviews: one with the hiring manager and recruiter, and then a final one with the hiring manager, recruiter, and the marketing director. This was honestly the best interview process I've ever been through. My recruiter was super responsive with emails and setting up the interviews, and the communication overall was just great. I felt really valued as a candidate.
- What would you change about the current social media presence of Giant?
