Got an email from a recruiter to schedule an interview. I went to the interview and it was with another store's 'co manager'. She asked me a ton of your usual interview questions. Unfortunately it was more like a drill session rather than a interview. It didn't feel like a conversation and the woman doing my interview had terrible eye contact. The interview lasted an hour. She told me 'she thinks that HR will be in contact with me in the next few days'. After a week of not hearing something, I emailed the recruiter. She said they had a few more interviews and we would be in contact. That was 3 weeks ago and still haven't heard anything.

I applied on line and after a couple of weeks got an email for a phone interview. I prepared well for the phone interview but felt it was very generic matter of fact not at all personal. I was told that the only jobs they had were part time and was asked to pick between 2 different departments. The in person interview was with prepared foods and a really great experience. I was asked a couple of days later to go in for orientation.

So I had an initial phone screen, then I did an interview with the store leader and the HR coordinator. The interview itself was about an hour, but we kept chatting afterwards for another half hour or so. You know, just gotta sound good and look good, and you're pretty much in.
