Customer Service Representative
I filled out an application on their website, which I found through Indeed. Then I got a call to schedule a one-and-a-half-hour interview with a supervisor. It's kinda wild that it's 1.5 hours for an hourly job, but whatever. After that, I did a long video interview.
- Regarding the 100% availability requirement, are you okay with learning your rotating shifts (mornings, evenings, splits, rotating weekends) on Wednesdays for the next week, with no ability to request specific times?
- Are you comfortable with the policy of requesting time off 30 days in advance, understanding it's just a request with no guarantees?
- Are you okay with the mandatory overtime, which has been ongoing for two years and ranges from 2 to 8 hours weekly, with no option to decline?
Customer Service Representative
It was a thorough but easy interview process! There were basic questions, including questions about leadership and customer service. I had to sign a lot of paperwork to get the position. They also asked basic HR questions about how you are doing and how you would handle different things.
- Tell me about a time you showed leadership.
- How would you handle a customer service situation?
- What are your thoughts on basic HR matters?
Customer Service Representative
So first I had to do this online questionnaire thing, then I got a call and they asked me some quick questions. After that, I went in for one interview, and then another interview, and then they offered me the job right then and there.
- What motivates your job search?
