I had one zoom call with the co-managers of payroll and billing (though this has since changed and is now only one person). The VP of Finance joined mid-way through, interrupting me without knowing it, and talked about herself for a few minutes before leaving. We mostly just discussed the company and they asked basic questions about me. They really just care about personality, which is why they end up hiring so many incompetent employees. I was told by a current employee that they were unsure about hiring me because they couldn't get a good read on my personality, but they did offer me the job, and I ended up being one of the best on the team, getting promoted to senior within 6 months.

It was a bit long and kind of a lot with 6 people interviewing me, and they really expect you to make eye contact with all of them at once or they see you as unprofessional. Then there was a shadowing thing in a cube farm, the whole place felt super anxious. They also never asked about my salary expectations, and then they tried to lowball me with an offer that was so embarrassingly low I literally scoffed on the phone. It was 8am-6pm M-F in the office, and the recruiter had lied about it being hybrid and having fewer hours. Honestly, just a really bad experience, so glad I didn't end up working there.

I had a web interview done via webcam, and I thought it went very well. I answered all their questions and received a congratulatory message afterward saying someone would contact me about the next steps. A person also called me on the phone and mentioned someone else would call, but they never did. I tried calling to follow up, but no one returned my call. Although I didn't have experience in rehab at the time, I've since worked with Jupiter Rehab and am currently on contract at Sea Pines HealthSouth in Melbourne, Florida.

It was a pretty informal interview process for me since I had been consulting for GHR before joining them full-time. The president and I sat down one day and worked out the details for me to come aboard. I accepted the offer and started working there.
