I went through two interviews. They both inquired a lot about my past experiences and how I would manage various workplace situations. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant, and the process moved along quite quickly.

The interview was pretty chill. They asked me about myself and my past co-op and work stuff, then some general technical questions about the building engineering industry. I talked with two people from the department, a project director and the project manager.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I got an email to set up a phone interview with the recruiter, which was pretty easy. I asked them about the company culture and they said it takes about a day for people to get back to them, which I thought was a bit slow if I needed help urgently. They said they'd be in touch in a few days. I didn't hear back by the next Friday, but then they emailed the Monday after to schedule another phone chat. I confirmed the time right away, but during the scheduled time, they never called. I emailed to check on the appointment, and they said they didn't get my response and had scheduled someone else. I sent them the confirmation email again, and they admitted they missed it. So, we rescheduled for a time that was inconvenient for me, and I had to take the call from my car. After waiting ten minutes, they finally joined and realized we'd already talked. I confirmed that we had spoken the previous week. Then, they scheduled me to talk to the head of the department the next day. That interview went okay, but I didn't really connect with their personality, which made me less interested. I was already annoyed from the previous interaction, so I figured they weren't very organized. The second interview focused more on the specifics of the role and how my current job fits. It's been a week, and I know it can take a few weeks to hear back, but unless the pay is amazing, I don't think I'll accept. Plus, the potential manager has a similar personality to my current boss, which is exactly what I'm trying to get away from. Overall, the first interview went well, and I thought I did great and asked good questions to move forward. But by the time of the second interview, I was so frustrated with them that I've lost interest.
