Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GFT.
Project Engineer
A headhunter reached out to see if I was interested, and I said maybe. Then, an HR person from the US called to give more details and schedule an interview with two managers. After that, I got the offer.
- Can you describe your previous work experience and responsibilities in your past positions?
Project Engineer
Gia Eppolito was great to work with. Our first call was easy and felt natural. Technical issues didn't phase us, and it was a real conversation. The follow-up for next steps had a good timeline, and I didn't feel rushed, even though they reached out first. Basically, a researcher contacted me and passed my info to Gia at Gannett. I got a call from Gia, and we set up a chat. After that, I had a follow-up with my Manager, then met with key staff. Things got more serious, an offer was made, and I accepted. It was a straightforward process handled professionally.
- What's prompting your job search?
Commissioning Engineer
I was contacted and after two weeks, I had a Zoom interview. I had to do all the follow-ups myself. I never got a decline email, only an email to review the process. I still don't know the job status.
- If a job offer were extended, what would be your availability?
