The process involved a screening call and then two interviews with team members. My POC, Sarah from talent acquisition, was great, being open and transparent. The timeline for an offer was also reasonable once interviews began.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. I had two separate one-on-one interviews, one with the department manager and another with someone higher up. It was a really relaxed conversation, and the second interview was more technical.

Gia Eppolito was great to work with. Our first call was easy and felt natural. Technical issues didn't phase us, and it was a real conversation. The follow-up for next steps had a good timeline, and I didn't feel rushed, even though they reached out first. Basically, a researcher contacted me and passed my info to Gia at Gannett. I got a call from Gia, and we set up a chat. After that, I had a follow-up with my Manager, then met with key staff. Things got more serious, an offer was made, and I accepted. It was a straightforward process handled professionally.

I had an initial phone call with HR that lasted about 15 minutes where I answered some general behavioral questions. They then scheduled a phone interview with an engineer for the following week. In that call, the VP of the office asked me questions primarily about my experience and education as listed on my resume. About a week after that, I had an on-site interview which lasted approximately 3 hours and included lunch with some of the main engineers at the office.
