I had a really bad time with GfK and NIQ. We agreed on an offer, but then they stringed me along for a whole month, saying they needed a bunch of documents from various agencies before they could officially hire me. Since I'm an EU citizen in Bulgaria, I checked with Bulgarian authorities and immigration experts, who told me that only a foreign tax number was needed, which I had already given them. I tried to get more info from the company, but they just ignored my calls and emails. After a month post-offer agreement, they finally called to say they couldn't finish the contract in time because of these mysterious 'many documents.' They still couldn't tell me what these documents were or why this wasn't sorted out earlier to give enough time to get the contract ready. With the company ghosting me, giving terrible answers, and seeming to discriminate against EU applicants, I'd say avoid them and find a company that actually values your time and effort. If you do decide to go through with it, know that the offer isn't legally binding (they had a clause about this in the fine print). I highly suggest you keep looking for jobs until you actually have the signed contract.

The interview process kicked off about a week prior with a role briefing session on MS Teams. We got a good overview of the job and had time for questions. After that, there was a pen-and-paper aptitude test covering quantitative/logical reasoning, English, and computer knowledge, along with a quick Google product EAN lookup task. If you did okay on those, you moved on to the actual interview with two people asking a mix of standard and scenario questions.
