The interview went quite smoothly. It was like a regular conversation with the panel. They made me feel comfortable and asked about my previous work. If my experience aligned with the role, they usually proceeded.

Got referred by someone in Management. There were three rounds in total. First, I got a case study to research and make a PPT about the China economy's underperformance. Then, I had an interview, and after that, a very short HR round. The interviewers seemed friendly, but they were looking for someone with deep research experience. I think I messed up by not prepping for resume questions. The HR round was super quick, lasting only two minutes. They asked if I knew about GEP's work. It's super important to be familiar with the company website and the Job Description to understand what the company does.

The process had several rounds, each at least 20-30 minutes long and spaced a week apart. I spoke with every manager on the team at least once. Overall, a good process.
