First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GEP.
.NET Developer
I went through 3 interviews, 2 of which were technical and 1 was a VP round. After that, there was an HR interaction, though they weren't available for discussion initially. I got an email from HR about selection. Two days later, I called HR, and they shared the salary structure, which was completely different from what we discussed on the call. I pointed out our earlier discussions, but they claimed it was the current market standard. I emphasized that I would only accept XYZ amount, which they initially agreed to but then refused. So, be aware of this situation and try to get a confirmation email or something to avoid this.

.NET Developer
It was a 4-stage process: first a recruiter call, then two technical rounds for an hour each, and finally a managerial interview for 30 minutes. I did my best on the technologies I've worked with, but they were expecting knowledge of the latest tech like Azure, cloud, and NoSQL, which they didn't mention upfront. Even with strong answers in my known tech stack, I wasn't selected because of a lack of experience in these newer technologies. The interviewers had significant experience (8+ years for the first technical, an architect for the second), and the questions were quite in-depth, suitable for more experienced candidates. For GEP, it's crucial to deeply understand every scenario you discuss and stay updated with the latest technologies. It would be better if they specified these technology requirements at the scheduling stage instead of after a 2-hour interview.
- They covered all C#, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET MVC concepts.
- What's the difference between dynamic and var?
- Can you explain the 'using' keyword?
Senior .NET Developer
Had an hour-long online HR interview and then another hour-long technical interview over Microsoft Teams. The technical part was a casual chat about my background and technical skills. They also shared some of their current technical challenges and asked for my thoughts on how to best address them.
- What is your experience with Load Balancers?
