Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GEP.
Intern
The process was very organized and transparent. We had a practical technical challenge followed by conversations with HR and management. Although it lasted two months, I received frequent updates on the status of my application, which made the wait much smoother and professional.
- Why did you choose our company to start your career and what do you expect to learn here?
Intern
I went through 2 rounds for this internship. The first round was a 45-min session that included behavioral questions and a case about profitability, which felt easy and the interviewer was nice. The second round, also 45 mins, had behavioral questions and a market sizing question that wasn't mentioned beforehand, followed by a 45-min market entry case. The case itself was okay, but the interviewer was discouraging, making it harder. They laughed at me and, despite guiding me a lot, their behavior was discouraging. When I asked them and the other interviewer the same question about why they joined supply chain consulting, the interviewer commented on me asking the same question. It was a negative experience overall. I'm waiting to hear back, but this interview has really changed how I see the company.
- Why GEP?
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What prompted your decision to join the field of supply chain consulting?
Intern
The interview process was really nice and straightforward. The interviewers were competent. It started with a phone interview, followed by a case study, and ended with a personal fit assessment. The case study itself was pretty easy, and the interviewer was relaxed and easy to talk to.
- Would you like to present your Strategy Case Study?
- Tell me about your strategy case study and presentation.
