Project Manager
Had a 30-minute phone screen, then a quiz. They asked for my phone number to call for the initial screen, but ended up calling a different one than I gave them. The HR person seemed unprepared, hadn't looked at my resume and was surprised about my current location, even though it was on there. The quiz afterwards was strange, only 30 mins for about 40 questions, a mix of programming and logic, not really related to the job. I didn't finish it. Then there were tech issues with the quiz, and HR said it wouldn't count anyway because of technical difficulties. I got rejected and didn't hear back when I asked for feedback. Overall, a bad recruiting experience.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience?
- What's prompting your decision to leave your current job?
- Could you detail your current job duties?
Project Manager
Applied online. HR specialist contacted me three weeks later to set up a conference call interview. The interview went well, and the HR specialist praised my performance and said they'd schedule an in-person interview the following week. I received a link for a quiz which I completed, answering most questions correctly. I didn't hear back from HR until I received an automated message stating I wasn't selected to move forward. It's unprofessional to promise a next step and then not follow through, especially when it impacts other plans. I had to put business travel on hold because I was expecting an in-person interview in early December, which never happened. I'd seen similar reviews about Geotab HR, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed them.
- Can you list the project management tools you utilize?
Project Manager
It started with a chat with HR and then an online assessment. What was annoying was that there was no communication or feedback at all from the company. Candidates spend their time to apply, and the least they expect is some kind of response about their application status.
- Can you tell me about your Project Management experience and the tools you've utilized?
- What PM tools have you used in your previous roles?
