Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Geotab.
Product Manager
The process was pretty straightforward. After the first call with the recruiter, there was a test. Then I had an hour-long interview with the hiring manager where she asked questions related to the job. The recruiter also threw in a few technical questions.
- Can you share an instance where you navigated a conflict within a project?
Product Manager
After applying on the company's website, I got an email right away. The first step was a video call with an HR rep, which was nice. They asked about salary expectations and said my lower range was just within their budget. They have good reviews for culture, but they don't pay competitively. Then there was an online quiz with intentionally too many questions to answer in the time given, covering logic and even programming. After that, no response.
- Can you walk us through your experience?
- What are you looking to earn?
Product Manager
Had a 30 min chat with the HR recruiter, who asked me basic stuff like why I'm interested in geotab and why I'm leaving my current org. Then I had to take an online IQ test, after which I moved on to the hiring manager interview. Then I was ghosted with no feedback given.
- Tell me about your specific contributions to delivering products.
- Describe your actions in delivering something.
