After I applied, I got an offer to come in for an interview. I then met with my future boss in person. We talked about the job and if it would be a good fit for both of us.
- Can you share an example of a time you dealt with conflict and how you handled it?
Student Assistant
It was an average length interview, with easy, non-technical, mostly behavioral questions. They went over some of the job duties and highlighted how flexible both your schedule and their schedule can be. They mentioned it's a job on campus and you have to be there in person.
- What's your approach to handling several tasks at once?
Student Assistant
I had a 30-minute Zoom interview with the lab manager and some PhD students who help with the research. It was a quick chat, and they said they'd let me know about the next steps, but I never heard back from the lab manager.
- What is your availability to work in this role for a year?
