Behavioral Presentation

I got a call from support staff about the interview and was emailed directions which turned out to be just a campus map. The support person had trouble with English and wasn't much help. The interview was a panel with seven people from different departments. They asked mostly behavioral questions. I also had to give a presentation on a topic of my choice. The hiring manager said I'd get feedback either way, but I never heard back. I saw on LinkedIn that the job was filled.

I got a phone call about five days after applying to set up a preliminary interview. The first interview was remote over speaker phone, and then the second interview was scheduled to be in person.

Behavioral Presentation

I was contacted by the search committee for an initial phone call, and a few days later they scheduled me for a face-to-face interview. This involved an hour-long meeting with the committee, a 30-minute presentation I had to prepare for an audience of about 40 people, meeting the team I would be supervising, a campus tour, and finally a one-on-one meeting with my supervisor. Then there was a background check and an offer.
