Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Georgia-Pacific.
Sales
The interview experience was pretty good, not too stressful. It was a laid-back chat. I got to see the workplace and they asked me about my past jobs and what my life is like. I'd suggest it to anyone thinking about applying.
- Tell me about your college experience.
Sales
I had an initial phone screening with a recruiter, mostly behavioral questions. The recruiter gave some good tips on how to prep for their interview questions. After that, I had three group interviews at a regional office, each lasting an hour. They asked about my experience and more behavioral stuff. It was weird that MBM wasn't mentioned at all, considering how much GP talks about it.
- Tell me about a time in your previous role where you encountered an unethical situation and what you did about it.
Sales
The interview process kicks off with a two-hour cocktail hour on Monday evening. The company covers all hotel and travel expenses, with interviewees staying at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Atlanta. The formal interviews start at 8 am the next morning. Each interview is an hour long and is a one-on-one with a General Partner employee. The role is a sales position open to locations anywhere in the US.
