Environmental Compliance Specialist
It was a conversational interview with 3 managers, lasting about an hour. Afterward, I had 15 minutes to write an essay. They also requested my transcripts and referees.

Environmental Engineer
First there was a phone interview, then about a week or two later I had an in-person interview. It was a pretty relaxed interview. They really valued confidence, so being sure about your answers and experience was important. Before the interview, I also had to do a writing sample. After the in-person interview, they contacted all my references. The background check and hiring process took about 2-3 weeks after the in-person interview.

Lab Scientist
Pretty simple process. They asked about my education and work experience that's relevant to the job. The interviewers seemed friendly. Be prepared for a math question. There were 3 interviewers from different departments. It took around 30 minutes depending on how detailed my answers were.

Environmental Specialist
The hiring process can be slow, taking 2-3 months, unless they are in urgent need of someone. After applying, you'll be called in for an interview. Typically, this involves a panel interview with your immediate supervisor, another group's supervisor, and someone who holds the same position you're applying for or a third supervisor.
