I had 4 interviews in total. First was an HR interview, then 2 technical interviews, and the final one was with the Manager and HR. The staff were really nice and professional, and it felt good that they were interested in getting to know me as a person. However, they were serious about testing my technical abilities.

The hiring manager and a supervisor talked with me. They asked about my experience and gave me a scenario to test my engineering judgement. This is an entry engineer role, so I was asked to mention any internships I had completed and my desire to learn. It's important to research the company and understand the daily tasks.

So first there was a phone call, then I was supposed to go in person but ended up doing that one over the phone too. Mostly they asked about stuff I'd done before. There was this one technical bit where they gave me a traffic problem and asked how I'd handle it, which seemed pretty easy. Overall it was fine, but I learned to answer better. They said I should listen more closely to the questions.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Tell me about a time you had to think quickly.
  • Describe a time you did more than what was expected.
  • How would you tackle a traffic-related scenario?
