I had one interview with the team I would join. They might have been eager to hire, as it was just one interview, and then after a couple weeks, I got a call with the offer.

Initial screening call with the hiring manager, followed by an on-site interview involving two different groups. There was also a 1-on-1 call and subsequent follow-up calls with the hiring manager, totaling 7 contacts. The process was outlined on the HR website, and they were supposed to stick to it. They held back critical job info, like salary. It seemed like they were hedging their bets, as their first choice took the job, which is why they contacted my references the same day. As I mentioned in one of the MANY interviews, this is a two-way street. They act like they're forward-thinking but are just typical.

We start with a phone interview to see if you have the skills we need. This helps us filter candidates early. Then, there's a skill test to check how well you can do the job, which could be about your personality or how you fit the role. After that, we have an in-person interview to really get to know you and your background, and we'll tell you about our work style and culture. Finally, there's a group panel interview where people from different areas might ask you questions, and sometimes you'll need to give a presentation showing your skills.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about yourself and your experience. What technical skills do you possess? (Behavioral and technical questions literally)
