Photographer
You only talk to an intake person, it's not a real interview. It's basically impossible to speak with anyone actually involved in hiring.
- What's your experience like?
Photographer
We started with a phone chat where they asked me about my photography background and client work. They also asked about my wedding photography preferences. After that, I had to submit about 200 unedited photos for a portfolio review. It was kinda fun since I hadn't shot too many weddings yet, but I used my portrait shots too. They said I'd hear back in 2 weeks, but they got back to me in just a few days!
- Can you tell me about your photography style?
- What's your experience like as a photographer?
- Describe your experience working with clients.
Inside Sales Representative
I submitted my application on a Wednesday through Craigslist, and then a HR representative called me on Thursday morning. We talked for a bit and then I was scheduled for another phone call later that day. I completed the second phone call and was then invited for an in-person interview. I interviewed with three different people. The next day, I got a call with a job offer. I started working the following week.
- What motivates you to join our company?
Intern
I applied on their website and sent in my resume. After that, I had a phone interview and then went in for an in-person interview. They really seemed to care about my skills, attitude, and goals, and also if I'd be a good fit for the team's culture.
- Describe a situation from a past job where you made an error or encountered an unexpected setback, and explain how you managed it.
